Atletico Madrid vs Villarreal

Atletico Madrid have been nearly perfect so far at home with six wins and only a draw, but it's to be noted that apart Sevilla maybe, all the other teams were much below their potential which explains the nearly perfect home record. Villarreal have been getting good results on the road too with just one loss out of seven fixtures, although, just like in Atletico's case, it has to be mentioned that Sevilla was the only real test as all the other teams were below them. That being said, it's a little bit hard to estimate how will this fixture go, even though I prefer Villarreal for this one as I expect a pretty close match and it's them that get a +1 handicap. Both teams played in Europe in midweek and I would expect a slower than usually tempo which is an advantage for the underdog.
